Dugui Tsagaan area and the banks of the Tuul and Selbe rivers are being landscaped into green areas, parking lots, and sidewalks, and a comfortable environment has been created for citizens to travel comfortably. Landscaping is underway along the Tuul River, including two locations near Baga Tengeriin Am and Asem Villa. Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar worked on the sites.
Mayor of UB D.Sumiyabazar said, “The landscaping work along Dugui Tsagaan area is planned to be completed by August 15. Young people are actively participating in the landscaping of green structures. In addition, we support the introduction of environmentally friendly solutions of children’s playgrounds that preserve the natural appearance. It is also planned to construct a pathway with natural stones. As the flow of people increases and a comfortable environment is created, the income of operating enterprises will also increase. Therefore, we are cooperating with enterprises. We will support enterprises and pay special attention to creating a comfortable environment.
SIDEWALK AND PLAYGROUND TO BE COMPLETED BY AUGUST 15
The chief engineer of the Investment department of the capital city T.Orgil-Erdene said:
– Landscaping is underway on 2.6 hectares of the area near Dugui Tsagaan. It has a recreation area for all ages, a children’s playground, and a shed. Public toilets and a street food area will be constructed in the reception area. It should be emphasized that the trees used for the path are dead trees removed from the forest of Selenge province and Bogd Khan Mountain. Walkways and playground sections will be completed by August 15. The construction of rest areas in the Dugui Tsagaan area will continue after August 15.
Children’s playgrounds are planned to be built in three locations around Dugui Tsagaan. In this regard, the director of “Land Art” LLC Ts. Batdorj said, “The children’s playground is planned to be designed with shapes and images that are compatible with the native nature and is eco-friendly. Work on the playground is scheduled to begin on Wednesday. The playground will be made of poplar wood. We are using the trees that fell naturally and were removed during the cleaning process”.
During the visit, the Mayor highlighted that there will be an area covering 3.5 hectares for the citizens to spend their leisure time in Baga Tengeriin Am. “Landscaping work of the ASEM villa is underway. In addition, the district administrations were instructed to increase green spaces. The city authorities will pay attention to creating a comfortable, healthy, and safe environment for the citizens”, added the Mayor.
